The Enemies of Truth are Our Enemies | CAEF Bulletin October 29, 2021

Israel does not have to justify banning Terror supporting NGOs

The evidence is obvious and was never hard to find. Many so called Palestinian human rights organizations are covers for terror, for Jew hatred, violence promoting and the BDS movement. See the campaign on Instagram from Students Supporting Israel, with data from NGO Monitor—see for yourself, tell our enemies that Israel is welcome to Ban Terrorists!

Bari Weiss, A Most Important Commentator of our Time: We Got Here Because of Cowardice. We Get Out With Courage

This article has appeared in several publications including Commentary Magazine, and is a must read on what Wokeism is, how it is defying truth, destroying careers, endangering lives, and teaching hatred and racism.

Weiss begins by explaining he Woke ideology: “It begins by stipulating that the forces of justice and progress are in a war against backwardness and tyranny. And in a war, the normal rules of the game must be suspended. Indeed, this ideology would argue that those rules are not just obstacles to justice, but tools of oppression. They are the master’s tools. And the master’s tools cannot dismantle the master’s house.”

Tell Amazon and Google the Truth About Israel!

Nearly 400 Amazon and Google employees signed an Oct. 12 open letter in The Guardian slamming a $1.2 billion contract selling cloud services to the Israeli military and government, and demanding that Amazon and Google cancel this contract.

The open letter regarding Project Nimbus refers to Israel’s fictional “systematic discrimination and displacement,” while completely ignoring very real human rights abuses around the world.

This move by Amazon and Google employees - who cowardly signed the letter anonymously - is meant to demonize and delegitimize the State of Israel by using a double standard to judge the sole Jewish state that would be impossible for any nation to live up to.

Please contact Amazon and Google to let them know that denying Israel a contract – Project Nimbus - is unacceptable and potentially illegal.

Email Amazon at primary@amazon.com or call at 1-888-280-4331. You may have to speak with an automated bot first, but it will ultimately direct you to a live person.

Kudos to Simon Wiesenthal Center, US: Letters, Petitions, Calls Do Work

This article is taken from an email sent by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, illustrating about a successful intervention with two major corporations. Take heart, take action.

Target Corporation and Barnes & Noble have removed “Not Guilty At Nuremberg” a book written by notorious Holocaust denier, Carlos Porter, as well as three other books, following a letter of protest to the Chairmen and CEOs of Target as well as Barnes & Noble. The Center also reached out to several other heads of large, online booksellers, including Walmart, over the sales of this book.

“We assume these large online booksellers do not mass-market books promoting terrorism or pedophilia. At a time of surging anti-Semitic hate crimes here in the US, it is beyond the pale that a book would be marketed by someone who insults the memory of 6 million Jewish victims of the Nazi genocide,” said Rabbi Abraham Cooper, Simon Wiesenthal Center Associate Dean and Global Social Action Director.

In response, Target responded to the Center, “We appreciate the time you have taken to share your concerns about this book. It’s never our intention to offend our guests with the merchandise we carry. Please know that we have removed this book from our assortment.”

Barnes and Noble wrote, “As soon as we are made aware of any such offending titles, we take prompt action to remove offending titles in accordance with our policy, as we did with 'Not Guilty at Nuremberg'. We had not been aware of this title’s existence on barnesandnoble.com. Upon receipt of your correspondence, in accordance with our content policy, we immediately removed it from our website. We also alerted Lightning Source, who have assured us that they also have deleted this title from their books for sale.”

The US Dares to Divide Jerusalem? No Way!

CAEF endorses the statement issued by the Zionist Organization of America calling on the US government to cease even considering opening a consulate in part of Jerusalem, the capital of Israel, to serve a distinct ethnic community. Talk about apartheid, segregation, discrimination, different status etc. The US President and his Secretary of State are pushing an agenda that is divisive, retrograde and unconscionable, and most likely illegal.

NO country can open an embassy or consulate within a sovereign state to serve a portion of its population or a people not of its population, without the agreement of that country and what country would ever agree? In particular, reversing course on recognizing a united Jerusalem is like an invitation for more conflict, denying all of history and the law, spitting in the face of one’s ally, instigating racist divides and sending a message that is most unpalatable.

Israel is not a subaltern to the US, though the latter might think so. In fact as former Vice President Pence once said, the US needs Israel as much or more now than Israel needs the US, for it is Israel that represents the best of the region, keeps the peace to some degree among otherwise warring tribes, provides a military bulkwark against Islamist forces such as Iran, Qatar, Hezbollah, Hamas and other terror supporting or acting regimes.

ZOA National President Morton A. Klein, issued the following statement on October 26, 2021:

"A U.S. ‘Palestinian Arab’ consulate in Jerusalem is a discriminatory, diplomatic insult and an attack on Israel’s sovereignty. It is an attack on Israel’s rights to the Jewish people’s eternal holiest city, Jerusalem. The United States has no consulate serving another entity or group in any other country with which the U.S. maintains diplomatic relations.

"Such a consulate would also boost dangerous efforts to divide and claim Jerusalem for a Palestinian Arab terror state’s capital.

"Establishing a consulate would also reward the terrorist dictatorship of the Palestinian Authority for continuing to pay Arab terrorists huge rewards to murder Jews and Americans, for inciting hatred and murder against Jews and Christians, and for filing illegitimate, false claims against Israel in international bodies―all in violation of the PA’s signed Oslo agreements. The consulate would appease terrorism.

"The Oslo accords also prohibit the PA from carrying on foreign relations―and establishing this consulate would enable the PA to also violate this agreement."

Tell the US to Stop Telling Israel what It can and can’t do.

Meet the Israel Guys who stand up to Jew hatred and antiZionism every day.

In Their Right Mind

A group of over 30 Republican Senators introduced legislation to uphold the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Law Act, an act that wasn’t implemented until 2018 when then President Trump recognized united Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moved the US embassy to that city, closing the Consulate that served the Arab Palestinian population. Going backwards, the Biden administration’s proposal to reopen a separate Consulate reverses history, introduces more conflict, more intransigent among the Arabs intent on not settling the conflict and not recognizing the Jewish state. All residents of all of Israel and the disputed territories are currently served by one embassy.

Creepy Statements from a Recalcitrant Jew hater

See the postings of a so-called educator and student equity officer who needs an education. On October 24, the Javier Davila of the Toronto District School Board posted the following Replying to @HassanValji

“A misconception is that the UN, which cannot impose political solutions without consent, established Israel. The UN suggested a non-binding partition plan, never implemented. Israel was established through destruction and ethnic cleansing of Palestinian villages and communities.”

There are more lies in the one sentence than one would expect from a child whose caught with his hand in the cookie jar, denying he’s taking a cookie. The UN approved the ratified decision of the League of Nations, twenty plus years after the League agreed to reconstitute the Jewish homeland in the Mandate for Palestine, and after several treaties and agreements reduced the size of the Jewish land substantially. The Jews accepted the partition plan, the Arabs did not and a day after Israel declared independence in 1948, 5 Arab armies illegally invaded, intent on killing all the Jews, driving them into the sea or beyond.

There was no ethnic cleansing by the Jews, only by the Arabs who forced all Jews in their homeland of centuries, to vacate Judea and Samaria and east Jerusalem ie the Old City and then proceeded to destroy all the synagogues and vestiges of centuries of Jewish life. That my friends is ethnic cleansing, followed by every Arab country, except Morocco, forcibly evicting over 880,000 Jews from their lands, stealing their property, assets, and citizenship. There were no people known as Palestinians; there were Palestinian Jews, Palestinian Muslims, Palestinian Christians, etc, all more or less vassals of the British who held the mandate after victory over the Ottoman Turks.

Could someone please provide Mr. Davila with a history book?

90% of American Jews Identify Antisemitism as Problem

The latest report from the American Jewish Committee, based on a survey of Jews in Sept and October this year, reveals the startling increase in perceived and experienced antisemitism. 82% think it has increased in the last 5 years and 88% feel they are less secure. Read the full study.

Sorry, Not Sorry

Many articles have dealt with the antizionism of the recent DC chapter of the Sunrise Movement, an environmental lobby group that sought to ban progressive Jewish organizations from participating from a voting rights coalition: the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), the Reform movement’s Religious Action Center (RAC) and the Jewish Council for Public Affairs. The exclusion was based on the ties these organizations have with Israel, presumably that would be true for almost any Jewish organization and interestingly, the non Jewish NGOs with ties, were not cited for exclusion. Antisemitism maybe?

The national Sunrise movement sanctioned the DC Chapter, which then reversed course. However, the apology was lopsided. Read these remarks posted by the Coalition for Jewish Values on October 26, 2021:

“After facing blowback for demanding the exclusion of left-wing Jewish groups, Sunrise DC issued a statement that Rabbi Menken characterized as a finger-pointing ‘apology’ filled with ‘whataboutism to distract from their Anti-semitism,’ including a reference to ‘anti-Palestinian racism’ Rabbi Menken dismissed as ‘mythological’.”

Education is not a Panacea for the Wilfully Stupid

Most people will not know the history of the binationalist movement proposed by Jews as early as 1929, who were willing to give up on the creation of a modern Jewish state. Moshe Phillips provides an informed perspective on its history and how the radical leftist academics today propose to undermine Israel by presenting this plan at a conference of Jewish educators this coming December. It boggles the mind that such ideas are given a platform, a place to say let’s get rid of Israel, let there be not one Jewish state in the world, let the purveyors of hate have their day and their pretense of peace.

UNRWA, Canada, and the Funding of Terror

As donor countries, including Canada, prepare to meet in November in Brussels it is imperative that Canadians get the message to our new Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon Melanie Joly and the Minister of International Development, Hon Harjit Sajjan, that they need withhold funds from the terror-supporting UN Relief and Works Agency, and demand accountability.

Violence is fed to children! This is abuse! Lies are a daily menu at UNRWA schools, backed by the Palestinian Authority, and they include omitting Israel from maps, from history, encouraging acts of suicide violence, painting Jews as evil, as enemies. Some teaches have been suspended but many that promote Hitler as a great man, are still teaching.

Read this article from UNWatch and write the Ministers.
