One Free World International Presents the Premier of Dying To Live, on the October 7th massacre. Register for November 25th, free viewing at the Toronto Zionist Centre.
"Dying To Live" is a gripping documentary that delves into the harrowing events of October 7, 2023, through the eyes of Egyptian-born human rights activist Rev. Majed El Shafie.
As Majed traverses the landscapes scarred by tragedy, he visits the kibbutzim and the Nova Music Festival site, places forever altered by violence. He interviews people who have endured the unimaginable: Michal Ohana, a survivor whose story embodies resilience; Yarden Gonen, who speaks of her sister Romi Gonen's captivity; and the family of Tiferet Lapidot, whose life was brutally taken by Hamas at the festival.
Majed's exploration is further enriched by interviews with Noor Dahri, a Muslim supporter of Israel and counter-terrorism expert, offering insights into the broader implications of such attacks. Journalist Raheel Raza, another Muslim supporter of Israel, shares her views on interfaith solidarity and peace.
The documentary also presents voices from Palestinians in the West Bank, highlighting the diverse and complex human experiences intertwined with this tragedy.
