Rally for Humanity Proclamation, Presented at Toronto City Council
One day before Remembrance Day, November 10th, hundreds gathered in Greater Toronto for a Rally for Humanity, bringing together speakers and attendees from diverse backgrounds. All are united in a common cause of standing up for our Canadian values, which is encompassed in a proclamation that everyone was encouraged to sign. The antisemitism that is growing in Canada is a symptom of the erosion of our values. We must stand together, with allies of all ethno-racial-religious communities, and encourage others to do so as well.
On November 13th, the proclamation was read before City Council by Councillor Brad Bradford with support from Councillor James Pasternak.
Please add your signature to the proclamation which will be shared with all provincial MPPs and federal MPs, and other city councils in Ontario. Together we are stronger.
PROCLAMATION OF UNITY AGAINST ANTISEMITISM
November 10, 2024
As faith leaders, community members, and proud Canadians, we are united in our commitment to uphold Canada as a place of respect, safety, and unity for all. Deeply concerned by the rising tide of antisemitism and division, we pledge to protect the values that make this country a beacon of peace and strength.
Together, we call on our local, provincial, and federal leaders to defend Canada’s values and combat division by:
Fulfilling their duty as elected officials to ensure the safety of Jewish individuals from hate speech, harassment, abuse, and violence.
Ensuring that the police and judiciary carry out their duties to arrest, charge, and prosecute all criminal acts and charge antisemitic acts as hate crimes.
Protecting our schools and communities to keep them safe, inclusive, and free from harassment, threats, and intimidation, fostering a Canada where every child and citizen feels a sense of proud belonging.
With this proclamation, we demand accountability and justice, meeting intolerance, discrimination, and antisemitism with unwavering resolve. Our Canada is strong, safe, and indivisible – we will protect it and honour it.

On November 28, the proclamation was promoted at Toronto City Hall for elected officials to sign. The Workshop on Antisemitism was hosted by Councilor James Pasternak, supported by a number of Councilors and attended by numerous Jewish organization representatives. Mayor Olivia Chow signed the petition after addressing the meeting and being met with loud verbal challenges from attendees calling for her active and visible, strong stand against antisemitism, calling for actions not just words.
The morning began with a press conference at which words of welcome and wisdom, denouncing antisemitism were offered by Councilor Pasternak, and Councilors Saxe, Bradford, Colle, Chernos-Lin, Cheung and .. Following the press event, Councilor Pasternak invited guests to present their concerns, including personal experiences of antisemtism. Among the presenters were Michael Osborne, a Christian ally and Mark Sandler, lawyer and founder of the Alliance of Canadians Against Antisemitism, as well as students and business people. Presentations were all poignant, detailed, and arguably frightening in illustrating the rise of Jew hatred on Toronto’s streets, in schools, universities and other institutions. Those present did not feel Toronto Police Services has done enough to create a safe environment for Jews, notwithstanding, some arrests of anti-Israel protesters.
The real issue remains—what is being done to end this activity, end the education that supports fallacious teachings about Israel and Jewish history? What is being done to punish those who use the Canadian system of liberal values to undermine our values? What is being done to stop the attacks both physically, verbally, and virtually, that undermine the community and could be prescient of worse things to come?
Emily Schrader Calls for Action Against the Islamic Regime of Iran
On the evening of December 4th, Israeli American political commentator, author, and activist, Emily Schrader addressed a packed, enthusiastic Toronto crowd on the dangers facing all of Western aligned countries due to the escalation of Iranian activities directly and via proxies. The event at the Lodzer Centre was entitled, The Head of the Snake, Islamic Regime of Iran, and was presented by CAEF, Tafsik, OneGlobalVoice, Canadians for Israel, and Allied Voices for Israel.
Moderator, Haleema Sadia, co-founder of TAG TV and Muslims Against Antisemitism, joined Emily on the bima along with Goldie Ghamari, Ontario MPP, and Christine Douglass-Williams, journalist, author, activist, and advisor to the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, Canada. Their scintillating discussion revealed the many ways that the Islamic regime has infiltrated the west, corrupted institutions, spread hatred against Jews and Israel, funded wars via proxies and declared its stated intention to make Islamism the dominant global ideology. The panelists were not alarmists but presented facts and called for actions.
Emily Schrader is an outstanding spokesperson supporting the Iranian people in their desire to throw off the theocratic tyrants dominating Iran and subjugating the Iranian people for 45 years. Haleema pointed out that Muslims also suffer under the domination of Islamism in Iran and threats presented in Canada; Christine noted that Christians and other faith communities have been abandoned by the West while they struggle to survive under this terrorist regime, and Goldie pointed out that regime change must come from within, but must be recognized and supported by the West, which must stop doing anything that allows or supports that regime to continue—no transfer of funds, no business, no recognition, greater sanctions, listing all proxies as terrorists, legal challenges, and public scorning and shaming.
Radical Islamist-Marxist protesters on the streets of Toronto and other Canadian cities are supporting the destruction of our own values and democratic institutions, and not supporting the Gazans or other Arab people.

CAEF Demands Justice for Hindus in Canada
For many months, CAEF has worked with the Coalition of Hindus of North America (CoHNA) in speaking out against antisemitism and in support of Israel. CAEF condemns all forms of bigotry and racism, and is proud to stand with our Hindu allies who are also experiencing hatred, attacks, lies and discrimination—here in Canada and abroad.
Join us in demanding that all levels of government do more to protect Hindu temples, arrest and punish the perpetrators of anti-Hindu hatred, and condemn the recent attacks on religious sites in Canada. Enough! Maspik!

Research Confirms DEI is Harmful to Jews
While billions have been invested in the US alone on DEI staffing and training, significant investments are also to be found in Canada. Until recently, there was little data to show it has been effective at addressing what it purports to address: to “cultivate inclusive environments for people from diverse backgrounds and encourage greater empathy in interpersonal interactions.”
On November 24, the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs in partnership with the Coalition for Hindus of North America, invited two researchers from the Network Contagion Research Institute at Rutgers University to present their findings on how DEI has fostered antisemitism and Hinduphobia.
Both forms of hatred have increased substantially, and both are growing in frequency and impact. Our communities need to stand together. See photos from the event.

Antisemitism on College Campuses Exposed—US Report
Information obtained by the US Committee on Higher Education and the Workforce reveals a stunning lack of accountability by university leaders for students engaging in antisemitic harassment, assault, trespass, and destruction of school property. At every school investigated by the Committee, the overwhelming majority of students facing disciplinary action for antisemitic harassment or other violations of policy received only minimal discipline. At some schools, such as Columbia and Harvard, radical faculty members worked to prevent disciplinary action from being taken against students who violated official policies and even the law.

Suggestion: Breakthrough research by Israeli researchers should not benefit anti-Israel campaigners. We can’t say how this would be implemented but as the BDS supporters continue to press for boycotting Israeli academics, businesses, products etc, perhaps the actual boycott should be to ban their access to any products including technology, medicine, agriculture products and other foods.

Researchers Develop Covid-19 Nanotech Vaccine Nasal Spray
Israeli and Portuguese researchers developed a COVID-19 vaccine nasal spray, effective against all major variants, using nano-technology that could be adapted for other diseases.
The vaccine, created by Tel Aviv University and the University of Lisbon, uses 200-nanometer synthesized nanoparticles, avoiding traditional mRNA methods.
Its advantages include room-temperature storage and self-administration via nasal spray, unlike mRNA vaccines that require ultra-cold storage and needles.
Tested through the EU’s ISIDORe program, the powder-based vaccine showed efficacy comparable to Pfizer’s vaccine.
Researchers state that the platform has significant potential for other diseases, including infectious diseases, cancer, and chronic autoimmune conditions.
