In 2024, CAEF Expanded Services, Demonstrating Collaboration
CAEF has entered into a partnership agreement with La’ad Canada to provide funds and serve in a advisory capacity to enhance education in the public system about Jews and Israel. La’ad’s Director of Advocacy introduced a large exhibit entitled, Who are the Jews? to an Ontario audience in 2022, and now with some financial support from CAEF, La’ad has developed a “mini museum” and AI supported project on Who are the Jews? The museum is available for bookings by contacting: sam@laadcanada.com
CAEF has contributed funds to Exigent Foundation’s program which focuses on fostering knowledge regarding the threat posed by extremism to liberal, western democracies.
CAEF has signed an agreement with Jewish Educators and Families Association to bring attention to the antisemitism in our K-12 schools in Canada. By partnering with CAEF, JEFA hopes to attract funds and volunteers to grow the initiatives needed to confront bias and misinformation in today’s curriculum and counter the influence of anti-Israel teachers’ unions and other organizations that lobby for the uncritical adoption of Anti-Palestinian Racism, a new term used to curtail evidence based, historically accurate information about Israel and the Jewish people.
CAEF continues its years’ long relationship with the Nachum Bedein Center for Near East Policy Research, helping to bring amazing documentary material to the public and governments, showing the terror and violence supported by UNRWA in Palestinian Arab children’s summer camps in Gaza and in Judea and Samarian Palestinian Arab schools. Whether controlled by Hamas or the Palestinian Authority, Arab children are being taught to hate and to kill Jews. Donations to CAEF contribute to the filming, editing, translating, distribution and the production of various language versions of these important documentaries.
CAEF has an agreement with Tafsik organization to support their ongoing efforts to defend Canadian values, build allies, and combat antisemitism and all hatreds. By supporting Tafsik, CAEF has been able to grow the community of activists in Toronto, and expand outreach with other ethno-racial communities.
CAEF and Canadians for Israel organized the first Toronto rally post October 7th. CFI grew out of the collective actions of unaffiliated individuals who organized swiftly and energetically post Oct 7, 2023 to show solidarity with Israel. Members of CAEF quickly galvanized, to partner with CFI , and provide support via CAEF’s broad intellectual resources. Working with a growing number of volunteers, CFI together with CAEF has conducted vigils, rallies, demonstrations, petitions, postering, film screenings, lectures and other campaigns, always drawing attention to the hostages remaining in Gaza.
DONATE BEFORE THE END OF 2024 TO SUPPORT CRITICAL PROJECTS
CAEF quoted, December 31st, National Post, article by Ari David Blaff: How Canada’s largest school board set off antisemitism debate. This is an important read to understand how APR is being weaponized in public education.

“Antisemitism has surged in Canada since Hamas launched the war with Israel on October 7, 2023, when it massacred some 1,200 people and kidnapped 251. Attacks on Jews and Jewish institutions in Canada have grown by 670 percent in the year since the attack, according to data from the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism. Jews were on the receiving end of 70% of religious hate crimes in the country, despite comprising only 1.4% of Canada’s population, the report noted.6:33

Canadians for Israel & Volunteers Confronting Amnesty International
On Tuesday December 10th, on the UN-designated Human Rights Day, a group of concerned Torontonians stood up FOR the hostages while standing up TO Amnesty International in Toronto.
As reported by organizer, Gdalit Aviella Neuman, “We wanted to humanize the hostages by having Amnesty literally look them in the eyes. They definitely noticed us, and placed three small signs on their window sill in response: ‘release the hostages,’ ‘ceasefire now’ and ‘civilians must be protected.’ After the event, a handful of our participants plastered hostage posters all around the block, so they won't soon forget we were there. “
Neuman wrote: “I later corresponded with an Amnesty’s head office in Ottawa over email, reminding the CEO that, in addition to the civilian captives, Amnesty has a duty to call for the immediate release of soldier-hostages as well, since there is mandatory conscription in Israel and these soldiers do not have agency about their service. What's more, the female soldier-hostages were non-combatants and taken barefoot and in their pajamas. They are particularly vulnerable to gender-based violence and must be released now. I noted that there is no moral equivalency between the Israeli soldier-hostages and Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails. To my surprise, after some back and forth, my contact at Amnesty wrote that she will forward my message to her colleagues.
I want to give special mention to volunteers of Canadians for Israel, who show up to support the hostages and help every organization with events, and the Jewish security team that shows up regularly for all Jewish events, including outdoor vigils and rallies, indoor speaker events, fundraisers, prayer services—Herut Magen, headed by Aaron Hadida, has a special place in the heart of our community. “
