CAEF Letter to the Principal of Etobicoke School of the Arts, April 7, demanding the students not be taught lies about Israel using a fundraiser for Gaza

Dear Principal Bylybashi,

The Canadian Antisemitism Education Foundation is horrified to see that your students propose to have a fundraiser for a Gazan NGO based on promoting lies and demonizing the country of Israel. It is fine to want to support a humanitarian cause but not if you allow it to be based on Hatred and Lies.

There is NO genocide in Gaza and this has been made perfectly clear by the terrorists, Hamas, directly. In a recent public release Hamas, the invading tyrannical, barbarian power that governs Gaza, subjugating its residents and controlling all aspects of their life, has admitted that over 3000 of the people they originally claimed to be dead, are in fact not dead. Hamas inflates the numbers of people killed, does not distinguish between combatants and civilians, yet Israel has been able to show that over 70% of the people killed are combatants. They have also shown that about 5000 of the dead died from natural causes. That is what one might expect. Additionally, some of the dead were killed by failed rockets intended to kill Israelis. Hamas has killed its own civilians and has been doing much more of that in the past week as they torture and murder residents who want a ceasefire, who want peace with Israel. Hamas murdered a few young protesters, after torturing them and then dropping their mutilated bodies at the homes of their families. Where is the genocide?

Genocide is what Hamas declared against Israel on October 7, 2023. It was their goal, and it remains their intent. Genocidal goals were behind their massacre of innocents; of babies, pregnant women, elderly Holocaust survivors, of Muslims and Jews, of Israelis and foreigners. Hamas is a terrorist entity and the students in your school and across Ontario must be taught the truth. Read the Hamas charter which declares their Holy war, which will only end when they kill all Jews, not just Israelis.

Israel did not occupy Gaza. No Jews have been inside Gaza since 2005 when Hamas took control of the area, after elections in which Gazans chose a terrorist entity to rule them and for which they did not get anything like democracy, and since which there have been no elections. Yet, despite the terror, the corruption, the destruction of society that Hamas created, over 80% of Gazans signaled support for the massacre in Israel. Support of Hamas is support for terrorism!

The Palestinian Arabs must sort out their choices. If they want peace, they must cease the war, they must accept Israel's existence. Israel is a legal entity, and has been the ancient home of the Jewish people for over 3000 years, centuries before Arabs arrived there. Arabs were an invading force, a colonial empire. That is fact and students must be taught truths, not narratives. The Palestinian Authority is no less violent, celebrating the slaughter of Jews, teaching their students that Israel does not exist, encouraging youngsters to become suicidal terrorists and rewarding every Arab who kills a Jew with a lifetime pension. Is this a humane way for any government to behave? Is this a moral standard you wish your students to emulate?

Palestinian Arabs are being deprived of humanitarian aid or food, not because hundreds of thousands of pounds of food wasn't sent in to Gaza. Any deprivation is due to the corrupt, thieving Hamas entity that steals and hoards supplies. This is no secret so why not show your students the truth? No other army in history has provided aid, services and even medical support to its enemies, but Israel has done so since the war initiated by Hamas began. Before October 7th, many Israelis helped Gazans to access medical care in Israel. In return, some of those helped and healed, contributed to the massacre of innocents. There was no Occupation! There is no Israeli genocide! The ethnic cleansing that took place was by Hamas, which drove all Jews out of the territory in which Jews had lived since Biblical times.

Stop Antisemitism at the Etobicoke School of the Arts by teaching truth, by supporting values of truth, evidence, history and not lies, narratives, and propaganda by terrorists.

If you don't correct this now, you, responsible administrators and educators, will be responsible for the degrading of Canadian society as antisemitism rises to horrific levels, repeating the very stages of inhumanity that befell the Jews in Europe before and during WWII.

Freedom for Gazans and Arabs living under the tyranny of the PA, will come when they eliminate Hamas and other terrorist entities. The people of Gaza, and those living under the dictatorship of the PA, will be free when they rid themselves, with Israel's help, of the Islamofascist extremists who dominate their lives.

Cancel this event and TEACH TRUTH, support Canadian values, support co-existence, support freedom for Palestinians by ridding them of terrorists.
