We will not tolerate the silencing of Jewish voices by The Daily Pennsylvanian and UPenn! Over 200 Jewish students and allies have signed a letter expressing the harm being done by the "Palestine Writes" series. But you have refused to publish this letter, or write a feature article about it. You did, however, publish a letter signed by a few dozen supporters of this hate-fest, and even wrote a feature article about that letter.
You cannot silence a minority people in this manner. We will not stand for it. We demand that you immediately publish the student letter and apologize for your refusal to do so earlier. It is wholly unacceptable for you to present a skewed, harmful, and untrue perspective that denies the reality of how Jewish students feel about this event.
By denying Jewish students their voices, you are supporting the colonization of campus spaces by bigotry and hatred that deny Jewish identity, Jewish indigeneity to their ancestral homeland, and the civil rights that generations of activists have fought so hard to secure. This is shameful and unacceptable, and we will not stand for it. We will #EndJewHatred on our campus!
