I am writing on behalf of the Canadian Antisemitism Education Foundation to thank you for your petition regarding safe schools.
You launched a petition that calls on Premier Doug Ford and the government of Ontario to immediately introduce and pass legistlation that would designate Safe School Zones around school properties in the province, and impose strong penalties on individuals found guilty of “intimidating harassing, or threatening the well-being of students, staff, or parents within these zones.”
CAEF is extremely grateful for this timely and urgently necessary initiative. We trust and hope that Toronto City Council will pass a motion in support of your petition.
