ANNOUNCING — REACH, REMOVE AND ERADICATE ANTISEMITISM AND CYBER HATE!

A JOINT INITIATIVE OF THE CANADIAN ANTISEMITISM EDUCATION FOUNDATION (CAEF), DOCTORS AGAINST RACISM AND ANTISEMITISM (DARA) AND FIGHTING ANTISEMITISM ON LINE (FOA)

CALLING ALL CANADIANS interested in taking on an important task, gaining a skill and being part of a new initiative to counter antisemitism, remove hate from social media, report the haters. READ MORE, AND JOIN NOW.

REACH is FOA’s flagship program, empowering individuals and communities to combat antisemitism and cyber hate. Combining theory and practice, REACH best equips participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to monitor and report antisemitism on the most popular social media platforms.

WE KNOW YOU WANT TO HELP, TO DO SOMETHING TO FIGHT ANTISEMITISM. Don’t be timid, learn how you can help and be part of a team. No prior skills required.

REACH only requires a minimum commitment of two hours for training and volunteering for each week, for 4 consecutive weeks. This can be combined with work or study commitments.

WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM INCLUDE?

This is a live, practical, hands-on training program, with mentoring throughout, using a virtual work space, a reporting challenge, a webinar, keynote speaker and building a network and community.

Participants will attend five live sessions of one hour each:

  • Introductory Session

  • Basic Training Session

  • Mentoring Sessions

  • A Webinar with a Keynote Speaker

  • A Summary Session

Participants will participate in a Reporting Challenge meant to motivate and use acquired knowledge and report as many antisemitic posts, tweets and videos as possible, on a social media platform of choice.

WHEN DOES THE PROGRAM BEGIN?

The first session will be November 13th, 2022 so Sign up Now.

IS THERE A COST FOR THIS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM?

No. Participation is free. We ask that people commit to the full training and continue to monitor and report on-line antisemitism. Each participant will decide how much time to dedicate to this activity post training.
